Application of Synera in applied research

A project with Alfred Wegener Institute, University of the Basque Country in cooperation with Tecnalia

Automating tasks and processes in engineering is not only a game-changer for players in the industrial sector, applied research can also apply the Synera (formerly known as ELISE) visual programming language to test innovative concepts and approaches.

In this webinar, we dive into the research activities of three of our amazing partners: the Alfred Wegener Institute (Germany) and the University of the Basque Country (Spain) in cooperation with Tecnalia, the largest centre of applied research and technological development in Spain.

During the webinar you will learn how these organizations were able to collaborate efficiently on the optimization of an aerospace engineering part used at aeronautical assembly companies (BioFLY framework), a project proposed by the University of the Basque Country and approved by the OASIS consortium (funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program).

Speakers:

  • Nils Kaiser, Project Engineer at Alfred Wegener Institute
  • Ignacio Laraudogoitia Doctoral researcher at the University of the Basque Country & Tecnalia
  • Marvin Frank, Head of Academy at Synera
