Synera today announced the release of the LimitState Peregrine Module, now available on the Synera Marketplace. This new integration brings advanced frame layout optimization capabilities into automated engineering workflows, enabling engineers to generate structurally efficient conceptual designs in minutes rather than days.

Highly Efficient Structural Topologies

Developed by LimitState Ltd., Peregrine is an innovative structural layout optimization tool that automatically identifies efficient (minimum volume) layouts of elements forming a truss, for a given design domain and set of loads, supports and material properties. By leveraging cutting-edge mathematical optimization and a unique ground-structure approach, Peregrine enables engineers to:

  • Reduce material consumption while maintaining strength
  • Optimize both 2D and 3D structures with real-world boundary conditions

Accelerating Design Exploration with Synera

The new Peregrine Module brings these capabilities directly into Synera’s AI agent platform. Through this integration, engineers can now embed structural optimization into their automation workflows, letting users and AI agents run these autonomously.

Key capabilities include:

  • Running Peregrine optimizations directly within Synera workflows
  • Parametric control of loads, supports and material properties
  • Automatic handoff of optimized frame designs to CAD or FE solvers
  • Integration with existing nodes for structural analysis and costing
