Introducing PanX Connector

Synera adds Multi-Grid Simulation for faster, precise AM workflows!

Great news for our additive manufacturing community! We're excited to announce the addition of PanOptimization's PanX simulation technology to the Synera marketplace. This powerful integration brings revolutionary multi-grid simulation capabilities directly into your automated workflows, helping you predict build outcomes faster and more precisely while eliminating tedious manual work for complex LPBF and DED processes.

PanX's novel Multi-Grid Modeling approach dramatically improves accuracy, scalability, and runtime for metal AM simulations. The solver can analyze extremely complex geometries that would be impossible to mesh using traditional FE approaches, while requiring significantly less computational resources – meaning many simulations can be run on a typical engineering laptop. This advanced capability is now seamlessly integrated into Synera's no-code automation platform, allowing you to incorporate powerful thermo-mechanical analysis into your existing workflows without dealing with disjointed software tools.

This initial release of PanX connector provides comprehensive capabilities including running simulations directly from Synera, using and modifying existing analysis templates, importing and visualizing results, and performing automated distortion compensation. Combined with other AM solutions in the Synera marketplace, you can now manage complete workflows from design to production through connections with tools like Hexagon's AM Studio, EOSPrint, Nesting addin, Additive Design Toolkit from Fraunhofer IAPT, and more.

As Erik Denlinger, Ph.D., Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at PanOptimization explains, "In developing PanX we have taken an expansive view on simulation's role in AM, moving beyond just distortion prediction and into applications including process parameter optimization and topology optimization for manufacturability. Collaborating with Synera allows us to connect this capability directly to where engineers need it - as part of automated workflows that can run continuously without manual intervention."
